Regulatory Framework

The purpose of the concept, approved by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of August 19, 2020 No. 2129-r, is to determine approaches to transforming the regulatory system in the Russian Federation to ensure the possibility of creating and applying AI and robotics technologies in various spheres of the economy while respecting the rights of citizens and ensuring the safety of individuals, society and the state.

The concept is designed to create the preconditions for the formation of the foundations of legal regulation of new social relations that are emerging in connection with the development and application of AI.
