As part of the competitive selection stages "Start-AI-1", "Start-II-2", "Development-AI", "Commercialization-AI", 288 AI projects were selected and financed. 31 projects for the development of open libraries were selected and financed, as well as 144 projects for participation in the acceleration program.

Human Resources

Development of higher education programs in the field of artificial intelligence and raising the teacher professional qualification

In 2022, 3,240 people were enrolled in 83 graduate programs in artificial intelligence. 1,196 teachers on the basis of 17 leading universities improved their qualifications.

Communities

Organising hackathons and lectures on artificial intelligence

Current year results

ANO "Russia - the Land of Opportunities" held 18 hackathons and 24 championships in artificial intelligence with the participation of more than 18 thousand people, as well as 35 popularization lectures on artificial intelligence, which were attended by 4.5 thousand listeners. At the completed events, 70 datasets were applied.

85 regional, 24 district and 7 international hackathons took place. The number of participants in AI hackathons was at least 21,500 people. As part of a series of hackathons, at least 85 educational lectures were held aimed at popularizing the topic of AI. The number of listeners of the lectures was at least 8,500 people.

Science

Support for research centers in the field of artificial intelligence, including strong artificial intelligence, trusted artificial intelligence systems, and ethical aspects of artificial intelligence

6 research bases in the field of artificial intelligence were selected based on the following educational and scientific organizations: Skoltech, Innopolis, ITMO, NRU HSE, MIPT, and ISP RAS. Financing in 2022: more than 1,5 billion roubles.
