“Hackathons and lectures on artificial intelligence” is a large-scale project implemented within the framework of the federal project “Artificial Intelligence”.
From June to November 2021, hackathons and lectures were held in 10 Russian cities: Nizhny Novgorod, Kaliningrad, Stavropol, Veliky Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Perm, Cheboksary, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk and Samara. In the first season of the project, more than 1,500 specialists took part in the hackathons, and more than 1,200 listeners gathered lectures. During the competitions, the participants proposed 142 solutions.
In 2022, ANO "Russia - the Land of Opportunities" held 24 championships and 8 hackathons on artificial intelligence with the participation of more than 17 thousand people, as well as 25 popularization lectures on artificial intelligence, which were attended by 3.3 thousand listeners. At the completed events, 57 datasets were applied. Competitions covered over 30 regions of Russia.
Until 2024, it is planned to hold 116 hackathons: 85 regional, 24 district and 7 international. The participants of the events will also have 85 popular science lectures on AI.
